Insights: how your business is doing
A new Insights page for owners: money in, visits, clients, your team's numbers and how your booking page is doing, each compared with the period before.
There's a new Insights item in the menu, for owners only. It shows how the business is doing over the last 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or 12 months, and compares each number with the same length of time before it.
Four tabs
- Overview: money in, visits, new clients, hours booked, no-shows, retail per visit, how clients paid, your busiest times, and where bookings were made.
- Clients: who's new and who's returning, your rebook rate, the usual time between visits, a Due back list of clients past their usual gap with nothing booked, your best clients, and birthdays coming up.
- Team & services: each team member's numbers side by side, and how each service and category is doing.
- Booking page: visits to your booking page, how far people got before booking, where they came from, and how many booked while you were closed.
Every number has its definition written beside it, so you can see exactly what's counted.
A few definitions worth knowing
- Money in is payments collected in the period, with refunds taken off. It matches your Payments list.
- A visit is an appointment that was completed, or a confirmed one whose time has passed.
- Rebook rate is the share of visits where the client booked their next appointment within 48 hours.
- Cash nobody recorded isn't counted. The Open tickets card on your dashboard helps you catch it. See Finished appointments that still owe money.
How booking page visits are counted
Visits are counted from October 3, 2026 on, and the tab says the day yours started. A visit is one browser tab on your booking page, your own website and the WordPress embed included. Nothing that identifies the visitor is stored: no cookies and no IP address. Bookings are counted from your appointments, not from visits.
Insights is in the dashboard only. The staff app doesn't have it yet.
