Settings, in fewer places — and a Notifications page
Twenty-one settings pages are now twelve, each one question with a tab per part. And every email Inchair sends you now has a switch.
Settings had grown to twenty-one pages, most of them one card, with a dashed "looking for…?" box on each side of every seam: hours on two pages, booking policy on three, your own account on three. Each page is now one question, and the parts of the answer are tabs across the top of it. Nothing was removed, nothing changed how it saves — only where it sits.
If you can't find something, type it into the search box on the Settings page. It now finds the tab, not just the page — "deposit" opens Booking rules on the Deposits & cards tab.
Where things went
Old links still work — a bookmark to any page that moved lands on its new tab.
Notifications
Settings → Notifications (opens in a new tab) lists every email Inchair sends you when something happens, each with a switch: a new booking, a booking request waiting on you, a new message from a client, the twelve-hour unread nudge, and a new client account. They're your switches — each person on the team sets their own, so a stylist can keep booking mail and skip the chaser while the owner does the opposite.
- Switching one off stops that email reaching you. It doesn't reroute it to someone else — an owner who mutes client messages isn't quietly made the fallback for them.
- It only covers mail to you and your team. Clients' own emails — confirmations, reminders, receipts — aren't touched, and the reminder rules still live under Bookings → Reminders (opens in a new tab).
- Stripe account alerts are listed under Money for owners but can't be switched off: when Stripe restricts a salon's account, we're required to tell you.
There's no switch for a client cancelling or moving their own booking, because Inchair doesn't email anyone about that today. If that changes, it'll appear here rather than arrive unannounced.
