Your Google rating and reviews, in Settings
Link your Google listing from your business address to see your rating and recent reviews under Settings › Google profile. Review request emails can send clients to your Google review page.
Owners can now see their Google rating and reviews in Inchair, under Settings › Google profile.
Linking your listing
- Go to Settings › Business.
- In the address field, type your business's name and pick it from the suggestions.
- Press Save changes. The field now says Linked to your Google listing, with an Unlink button beside it.
Changing your address by hand later doesn't unlink the listing. Only Unlink does.
What you'll see
The Listing & reviews tab shows your rating and up to five reviews, the ones Google picks as most relevant. Google decides which five, and Inchair can't show more than that. They're read from Google each time you open the tab.
Asking for reviews
With your listing linked, an automation's email can send clients to your Google review page: set its button to open Your Google review page. The Review request recipe under Marketing › Automations comes set up this way.
- Google doesn't allow offering anything in return for a review, so an email with that button can't carry a coupon too.
- The recipe asks every regular after a visit, not only the ones who seemed happy. Google's rules don't allow choosing who to ask by how they felt.
Business Profile
The Business Profile tab connects the Google account that manages your listing. You sign in on Google's own page, and Inchair never sees your Google password. Once it's connected and you've picked your location, Inchair uses that listing for your rating and review link if you haven't linked one from your address.
Connecting your Business Profile doesn't bring in your full list of reviews yet, and reviews aren't matched to your clients. You'll see the same five either way.
