Payouts

Your money, in your own account

Money taken through Inchair is never held by Inchair. It's charged on your account and paid to your bank on your schedule.

Your account, not ours

Charges are made directly on your connected Stripe account. We're never in the middle of the money.

Real dates

Payout timing comes from Stripe, with settlement delays, weekends and bank holidays already applied.

Or take it today

An eligible balance goes to your bank the same day, in part or in full.

A wallet that answers the actual question

The question is never "what's my balance". It's "when does this reach my bank". So that's what the wallet answers: what's still settling and when it clears, what's already on its way and when it arrives, and when the next automatic payout runs for the money that's ready.

Those dates come from Stripe rather than being estimated here, which means the settlement delay, the weekend and the federal bank holiday are already in them.

  • Arrival dates from Stripe, not from a guess
  • Payout history with the date each one landed

Instant, when the day requires it

An eligible balance can go to your bank immediately instead of waiting for the schedule — all of it, or part of it. Partial matters, because Stripe caps instant payouts per day and a new account starts low.

The fee, where there is one, is quoted by Stripe before you commit rather than estimated after. Today on Inchair there isn't one: we don't charge for instant payouts, and the platform-side cost isn't taken out of your transfer.

  • Send everything, or send part of it
  • The exact amount that will land, before you confirm
  • The daily ceiling is Stripe's, and you're told when you've hit it

Setting it up

Stripe does the checks

Identity and bank details go to Stripe from inside your settings. We never see or store them.

Your payout schedule

Daily, weekly or monthly, held on your Stripe account and read live by Inchair rather than mirrored and left to rot.

If Stripe restricts you

You're told what they're actually asking for, not just that something is wrong.

Questions

Does Inchair hold my money at any point?
No. Charges are made directly on your own connected Stripe account, so funds land there and are paid out from there. We aren't in the flow.
What does Inchair take per transaction?
Nothing today. Stripe's own processing fees apply to your account as normal.
How quickly do I get paid?
On whatever payout schedule your Stripe account is set to, with Stripe's standard settlement delay. The wallet shows the projected date for the next one, and an instant payout is available for eligible balances.
Why was my instant payout rejected when I have a balance?
Stripe caps instant payouts per day, and that ceiling isn't reflected in the eligible figure. A newer account has a lower cap, and a smaller amount usually goes through.
Can I take card payments without Stripe?
No. Card payments, deposits and no-show fees all need a connected Stripe account. Cash and payments taken elsewhere can be recorded without one.
