Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Inchair’s website, admin dashboard, and booking pages (together, the “Service”), operated by Inchair (“Inchair,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

The Service lets businesses manage appointment scheduling and lets clients book, reschedule, and manage appointments with those businesses. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. Account Registration

Certain features require an account. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.

3. SMS / Text Messaging Program Terms

Inchair offers an optional SMS program that sends appointment-related texts on a salon’s behalf. The following applies to that program:

• Program description: by opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from a salon on Inchair related to appointment reminders and other account notifications.
• Opt-in method: you opt in by providing your mobile number and affirmatively consenting — at account creation or through another clearly disclosed opt-in toggle. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any service.
• Message frequency: frequency varies based on your appointment activity; today that’s typically one reminder text per booked appointment.
• Message and data rates: message and data rates may apply, set by your carrier and plan.
• Opt-out: you can cancel at any time by texting STOP. We’ll reply to confirm you’ve been unsubscribed. Because every salon on Inchair sends from the same shared number, a STOP ends texts from every salon on Inchair, not only the one that just texted you. To rejoin, opt in again or reply START.
• Help: reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at hello@inchair.app.
• Carrier liability: carriers aren’t liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and we don’t guarantee delivery within any particular timeframe or at all.
• Supported carriers: the program is supported by major U.S. wireless carriers; coverage may vary.
• Privacy: see our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information, including mobile opt-in data, which is never shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information when creating an account or booking an appointment
• Use the Service only for its intended purpose
• Not misuse, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service
• Comply with all applicable laws in your use of the Service

5. Fees and Payment

Some features require payment. Fees are disclosed at the time of purchase. You authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge your selected payment method for any fees you incur.

If you’re a salon or stylist taking bookings and payments through Inchair, our Merchant Agreement covers what you pay, how payments reach your bank, and who is responsible for refunds and chargebacks — and it governs over this section where the two differ.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software associated with the Service belong to Inchair or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inchair isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including damages related to delayed or undelivered SMS messages.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users or the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after a change is posted means you accept the revised Terms.
