Delete your account
For the Inchair app on Google Play and inchair.app, from Inchair Software LLC.
You can ask us to delete your Inchair account and the data that goes with it at any time. You don’t need a reason, and it doesn’t cost anything.
How to ask
- Email hello@inchair.app from the email address you sign in with. The button below starts the email for you.
- Tell us which business you work at or book with, so we find the right account.
- We’ll reply to confirm it’s you, then delete the account within 30 days and email you when it’s done.
If you book appointments with a business, you can also delete your account yourself: sign in on the business’s booking site, open your account, and choose Delete my account. Cancel any upcoming appointments first.
What we delete
- If you work at a business (owners and team members): your login, password and passkeys, your name, email and phone number, your profile photo and bio, your settings, and the phones registered for notifications.
- If you book with a business: your name, email, phone number, birthday, pronouns, allergies and preferences, your login, the payment methods saved with Stripe, and photos the business took of you.
- If you own a business and are closing it: we keep its data available for a reasonable period so you can export it, then delete it, as described in the Merchant Agreement.
What we keep, and for how long
- Payment and transaction records, for as long as the law requires for tax, fraud prevention and disputes. Stripe keeps its own records of card payments under its own rules.
- A business’s records of past appointments and sales, which belong to that business. Your name may stay on them. To have those removed too, ask the business, or tell us in your request and we’ll pass it on.
- Backups, which are removed as they expire.
Delete some of your data, and keep your account
You can also ask us to delete only part of your data, such as your phone number, a photo, or your notification settings. Email hello@inchair.app and say what you’d like removed. Team members can delete notes, formulas and client photos themselves in the dashboard, and clients can remove saved cards and turn reminders off from their account page.
